It uses fixed bottom cups and slidable top cups on vertical standards, enabling up to four components to connect at one node with a hammer tap, making assembly fast and reducing loose parts, ideal for complex projects and heavy loads.
Key Components
- Vertical Standards (Standards): The main vertical supports with cups at set intervals (e.g., 0.5m).
- Horizontal Ledgers (Ledgers): Horizontal members with forged blade ends that fit into the cups.
- Diagonal Braces: Provide lateral stability, connecting to standards via swivel blades or clamps.
- Base Jacks & U-Heads: Adjustable jacks for leveling and U-heads/forks for supporting beams (like primary/secondary beams in formwork).
How It Works (Locking Mechanism)
- Connection: Horizontal ledgers slot into the fixed bottom cups and the slidable top cups of vertical standards.
- Locking: A hammer strike on the top cup locks the ledger blade securely, creating a rigid joint.
